Serving kosher food is a new venture for Emirates

Kosher Arabia is a new joint venture that will represent the aviation, hospitality, and events sectors in the Gulf region.

Emirates airline subsidiary Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC) spearheaded the initiative in collaboration with CCL Holdings.

The business started operations with a team of 20 committed culinary professionals who had all undergone comprehensive kosher food preparation, handling, and serving training.

Kosher Arabia's production plant, which is located in Dubai World Central (DWC), has a daily capacity of over 2,000 meals.

"We are very excited to begin operations in our modern, cutting-edge facility. We are well positioned to lead the market and provide delicious and ground-breaking kosher menus to our customers across the country, thanks to a team of highly experienced, talented chefs, advanced technology, and trustworthy partners "Kosher Arabia's General Manager, Matt Rickard, said.

"Every day," he said, "we will work hard to offer world-class services and goods through creative and sustainable solutions."

Kosher food has grown in popularity around the world in recent years. In terms of both ingredients and preparation methods, it is widely regarded as a safe choice.

With recent developments, EKFC anticipates a rapid increase in demand for kosher food in the UAE and the region.
